Mess Kantin @ Tiku White House, Tawau, Sabah

Assalammualaikum and good morning guys :)

Has anyone ever been to Mess Kantin @ Tiku White House, Tawau, Sabah ? Okay, 1, 2, 3, 4, too many, I've lost count. Never mind, I will consider that all of you've been there before. Although I'm a Tawaurian but this is actually the first time I came to this place. I know it’s sound pathetic, right ? Hahaha. And I know this place has been open for a long time but since I'm working in KL, so I can only see through social media. Lucky me.

But since I'm in Tawau right now, without hesitation, Alif (one of my best-friend) ) wasted no time in dragging me to this place yesterday. Thank you so much Alif for taking me there. So, when we’re arrived, I was totally impressed and excited to see the combination built between cafe and nature itself. I mean literally we just look at these pictures on Pinterest or any social media and able to look them in reality, it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

And we tried out their Ice Mocha, Espresso Tonic and a Soufflé.

It was a delightful dessert with an amazing views of the nature.

By the way, there's must be a reason why it’s called Tiku White House. Hmmmm. Actually, this is a private villa and it's not only turned into a hipster cafe; Mess Kantin but it’s also providing good accommodation via Airbnb, the rooms are designed for "WAKING UP WITH A VIEW" which to celebrate the beauty of the natural environment. Like seriously you'll fall in love with this place, just look at their Instagram. TIKU WHITE HOUSE. It's situated on a hillside and located at Jalan Sin Onn, just 10 mins away from downtown Tawau, Sabah. There's no need to worry about the route even you’re not familiar, you can locate with Waze or Google Map. Easy, isn’t ? 

Recently, their business hours had changed to a new one and here’s the new business hour; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday opens at 10.00 am until 8.00 pm, closed on Tuesday and for Saturday and Sunday opens at 10.00 am until 10.00 pm. This is a must-visit place, okay.
