It's "SEMPORNA" Time

Assalammualaikum and good morning to all of you. 

Actually a few days before I flew back to my hometown, me and Alif have some chit chat and I'm telling him that I want to go to Semporna. I means I just want to having good times, see the sunset with some coffee and chilling out together at there. In the 1st place, we're planning to stay overnight but then we're deciding not to because we thinks it will be more fun if it's a day-trip. And yeah, it turned out to be more awesome and adventurous. Hahahaha. Without any proper plans, we have no clue which places should be visit first ? So, we just randomly choose and the first place we're going to visit is Bukit Tengkorak or also known as Skull Hill.

For your reference, Bukit Tengkorak is an archaeological site hill located at Tampi-Tampi Road and around 10 kilometres from Semporna Town. The operation hour starting from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm and it's FREE ENTRANCE (FOC), you just need to sign in. No need to pay anything, just bring your stamina, water, and camera/smartphone to take photo or selfie for your remembrance before you start to climbing. From above the few hundred wooden steps, you will have a beautiful 360 degree view all over Semporna area. By the way, you don't have to rush, just enjoy the breeze and amazing view that surrounding you. If possible come early, so you can have more time to enjoy the stunning view. For your safety purpose, please going down before dark and wear a suitable shoes for your convenience. Okay.

As for me and Alif with bunch of nonsense, we started up the stairs one by one at 2.00 pm and it was &#@^!*#$ extremely hot, man. Surprisingly, we managed reach to the top with the guidance of our little guider, Panter. Well, I decided to call him, Panter because it's reminds me of my uncle's dog used to be called. Those who needs guide, Panter will accompany you, just give him some food and water. Hehehe. By the way, it took us around 20-25 minutes up and down. We spent about one and a half hours before we're going to the next place. Please enjoys see our photos. Hahaha.

Next place is Tanjung Parapat which is located at Jalan Pokas - Kuala Bibang, Semporna. This place is about 20 to 30 minutes drive from Semporna Town and also known as hidden gems that offer you with peaceful views. Before this, there's no cafe or restaurants and no hotel or other good accommodation nearby but now a resort had been built called Parapat Water Village Resort. Most locals people from Semporna and Tawau come here to enjoy the beautiful long jetty view during weekend with their friends and family members.

But we didn't come to enjoy the view from below, we came to enjoy the view from above the hill. So, we asked for the locals if it’s possible for us to get there and the answer is YES. Here we go again, HIKING ! But before that, you have to register your name and pay for RM3.00 per person. With the help of our 13-year-old tour guide called Irwan, it’s only takes around 15 to 20 minutes reaching the top and the route is not that difficult. It was such an amazing and breathtaking view from above, you can see the long jetty, beautiful sea as well as other islands too. This is a must-visit place, okay. Oh, I almost forgot, if I’m not mistaken, the locals here call this hill as TAMAN MARIATA BUD. But if you have any information, just drop your comments below. Mess Kantin @ Tiku White House, Tawau, Sabah

Assalammualaikum and good morning guys :)

Has anyone ever been to Mess Kantin @ Tiku White House, Tawau, Sabah ? Okay, 1, 2, 3, 4, too many, I've lost count. Never mind, I will consider that all of you've been there before. Although I'm a Tawaurian but this is actually the first time I came to this place. I know it’s sound pathetic, right ? Hahaha. And I know this place has been open for a long time but since I'm working in KL, so I can only see through social media. Lucky me.

But since I'm in Tawau right now, without hesitation, Alif (one of my best-friend) ) wasted no time in dragging me to this place yesterday. Thank you so much Alif for taking me there. So, when we’re arrived, I was totally impressed and excited to see the combination built between cafe and nature itself. I mean literally we just look at these pictures on Pinterest or any social media and able to look them in reality, it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

And we tried out their Ice Mocha, Espresso Tonic and a Soufflé.

It was a delightful dessert with an amazing views of the nature.

By the way, there's must be a reason why it’s called Tiku White House. Hmmmm. Actually, this is a private villa and it's not only turned into a hipster cafe; Mess Kantin but it’s also providing good accommodation via Airbnb, the rooms are designed for "WAKING UP WITH A VIEW" which to celebrate the beauty of the natural environment. Like seriously you'll fall in love with this place, just look at their Instagram. TIKU WHITE HOUSE. It's situated on a hillside and located at Jalan Sin Onn, just 10 mins away from downtown Tawau, Sabah. There's no need to worry about the route even you’re not familiar, you can locate with Waze or Google Map. Easy, isn’t ? 

Recently, their business hours had changed to a new one and here’s the new business hour; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday opens at 10.00 am until 8.00 pm, closed on Tuesday and for Saturday and Sunday opens at 10.00 am until 10.00 pm. This is a must-visit place, okay. Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

So, destinasi kali ni kita pergi ke Colmar Tropicale yang terletak di Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. Yang pastinya dah ramai datang berkunjung ke Colmar Tropicale ni yang terkenal dengan reka bentuk bangunan ala Perancis atau lebih dikenali sebagai "French Village". Untuk pengetahuan semua, perkampungan bertemakan ala perancis ini mendapat ilhamnya dari Colmar Village Alsace, sebuah perkampungan di Perancis yang terkenal dengan jalan batu dan bangunan peninggalan sejak zaman Renaissance.

By the way, suasana kampung ini sememangnya membuat sesiapa sahaja yang berjalan-jalan ke sini merasa seolah-olah berada di dalam sebuah filem Eropah klasik. Hahahaha. Selain daripada reka bentuk bangunan yang special, terdapat juga banyak aktiviti menarik yang menanti anda sekeluarga seperti rock climbing dan mountain biking. Untuk shortvacay ni, aku pergi bersama dengan mak, makcik dan cousin aku yang datang dari Sabah except cousin aku yang memang orang KL.

Japanese Village yang terletak di Bukit Tinggi ini merupakan memperlihatkan koleksi tarikan bertema jepun yang disusun kemas sekitar sebuah taman hijau yang luas dengan tujuan untuk menghidupkan suasana perkampungan jepun tradisional dahulu kala. 

Perkampungan Jepun ni dihiasi dengan kolam ikan Koi, taman bunga dan batu berlumut yang cantik. Antara tarikan mesra keluarga yang boleh dijumpai disini adalah:

Tapi memandangkan hujan masa kami tiba di Japanese Village, kami hanya berjalan di sekitar Japanese Garden dan tak sempat nak pergi tempat yang lain disebabkan hujan.

Percutian Tepi Pantai di Resorts World Kijal

Cuti sekolah dah habis. Sudah tiba masanya students balik semula ke sekolah. Mesti ada rasa malas nak masuk sekolah kan. Biasalah tu, kalau sudah terlalu lama cuti, mesti akan rasa awkward nak belajar. Hehehe. Kalau ada masa dan tiada halangan, boleh ja bercuti pada hari-hari biasa kan. Tidak semestinya kena tunggu cuti sekolah baru pergi bercuti kan. Tapi mungkin lagi mudah dan menyeronokkan kalau bercuti pada cuti sekolah sebab boleh jumpa dan ajak family yang lain bercuti bersama.

By the way, siapa yang tidak suka pergi bercuti ? Lagi-lagi kalau bercuti di tepi pantai, lagi best. Mostly ramai orang yahg pergi oversea untuk menikmati pemandangan di tepi pantai padahal dalam Malaysia pun banyak tempat yang menarik untuk dilawati. But you don’t have to go far because there are many amazing place/beach that you can enjoy your sunrise and sunset without spending a lot of money. Hmmmm. Agak-agak dekat area mana tu ? Mana lagi kalau bukan di negeri Terengganu Darul Iman. Tapi kalau nak pergi Terengganu, nak stay kat hotel mana pula ? Korang mesti terfikir nak stay kat mana ? No need pening-pening, korang tahukan Resorts World Genting yang dekat Genting Highlands tu ? Dekat Terengganu pun ada, okay. Which is located at Kijal, salah satu mukim dalam daerah Kemaman, di negeri Terengganu Darul Iman.

Lagipun, Resorts World Kijal ni pun dikira sebagai international hotel jugak. For your information, Resorts World Kijal ni dah lama buka, lebih daripada 20 tahun tapi masih tetap cantik dan nampak baru sebab pihak Genting always maintainance. By the way, jalan nak pergi ke Resorts World Kijal ni senang ja, all the way by highway. Perjalanan dari KL ke Resorts World Kijal ni pula lebih kurang 3 jam lebih tapi bergantung juga dengan perancangan perjalanan korang . So here’s the simple tips how to get there by using Waze:

1. Buka or install (bagi siapa yang tak install lagi) Waze ni dan taip kat situ “Resort World Kijal”. 
2. Then dia akan keluar macam ni, so just pick which route yang korang nak lalu tapi mestilah semua orang nak sampai awal kan.
3. Nanti bila dah keluar, just klik pada dan you can start your trip. Then dari Lebuhraya Pantai Timur, dari exit to Resorts World ni tak smpai tiga puluh kilometer. 

The best part is Resorts World Kijal ni terletak betul-betul di tepi pantai dan bilik dia pun ada yang menghadap pantai. Cuba bayangkan masa nak tidur malam tu dibuai dengan bunyi ombak pantai, bangun pun dengar bunyi ombak. Siap boleh tengok sunrise dan sunset lagi. Pergh, mesti best kan. 

Untuk kemudahan bilik di Resorts World Kijal ni ada dua jenis which are Deluxe dan Premier. Saiz kedua-dua bilik ni sama, 36 sqm dan perbezaan antara bilik Deluxe dengan bilik Premier adalah view pantai. Kalau bilik Premier tu ada view pantai, so memang cantiklah. Untuk bilik Deluxe pula, tiada view pantai tapi dalam bilik tu ada Jacuzzi dan Jacuzzi tu bukan terletak dalam bilik air tapi dalam bilik itu sendiri. How amazing is it ? So, jangan terkejut pula kalau booking bilik deluxe, tiba-tiba ada Jacuzzi dekat luar. Hahahaha. Tapi ada ja bilik dia yang Jacuzzi kat dalam bilik air, nanti boleh request dekat bahagian reception.

So, sebelum pergi Resorts World, korang buat book dengan Traveloka, harga bilik Deluxe satu malam adalah RM250 (without breakfast tapi boleh add-ons RM35 breakfast untuk dua orang). Untuk bilik Premier pula, harga untuk satu malam adalah RM325 (without breakfast) dan RM350 (with breakfast). By the way, sekarang ni Traveloka ada buat promosi untuk bilik Premier selama 2 hari 1 malam (with breakfast) dan harga dia hanyalah RM426. Bukan itu saja, promosi ni termasuk dengan bermain golf. So, tunggu apa lagi, jangan lepaskan peluang keemasan ni pada harga yang berbaloi di Traveloka. Selain tu, Resorts World Kijal ni ada disediakan 2 buah restoran. Restoran utama dia, ada sampan besar kat tengah-tengah sebagai main attraction. Makanan dihidangkan secara buffet untuk breakfast, lunch dan dinner. Menu makanan ada 2 jenis iaitu makanan style local dan juga makanan style international. By the way, yang restoran yang 1 lagi tu ialah Chinese restaurant dan di lobby lounge ada jual cheese cakes yang sangat sedap. So, this one wajib try.

Dekat Resorts World Kijal ni, korang boleh access terus pergi ke pantai dan tiada pagar pun antara hotel dengan pantai. Pihak hotel pun dah sediakan tempat basuh kaki semua untuk bersihkan pasir before masuk ke dalam hotel. Selain tu,ada kemudahan lain lagi yang disediakan di Resorts World Kijal seperti swimming pool, kolam air panasgolf course, spa dan fitness centre. So, kalau dah bosan main dekat pantai or mandi laut, korang boleh pergi ke tempat-tempat  tersebut untuk menjadikan percutian korang menjadi lebih seronok. So, siapa kata bercuti kat area Terengganu ni tak best, susah nak dapat hotel mantap macam ni kan? Lengkap dengan semua kelengkapan, bilik cantik, makan sedap, tempat selesa, and yang paling penting, kalau nak pergi pantai boleh jalan kaki ja. Best kan. So, what you waiting for ? Come on and booking at Resorts World Kijal using Traveloka sebelum semuanya full. Okay.
